A large framerate mismatch with Blur Reduction will look very microstuttery.

Fortunately BENQ's own Blur Reduction works at all refresh rates, so you can run strobing at 80Hz or 90Hz, for perfect-looking motion (if you're willing to use VSYNC ON, perhaps simultaneously combined with some lag-reducing frame capping tricks), as Blur Reduction looks excellent with framerate-refreshrate matched motion. Don't forget to eliminate your mouse microstutters, too.

If you have a game that varies a lot in framerate, from 30fps through 144fps, and rarely stays consistent, you might want to consider GSYNC if you hate stutters. GSYNC allows a very good-looking varying framerate. (TestUFO simulation of GSYNC -- smooth framerate changes).

You will need to create a refresh rate override (EDID override) with a refresh rate that your FPS will always be at, because you preferably want vsync ON. You can then, if you choose, use a "Vertical total" tweak to lower the amount of strobe crosstalk.

You can use ToastyX Custom Resolution Utility to do this.
Create an "automatic" resolution with your refresh rate, then change the value to "Manual" and enter your Vertical total value.
You will also want SINGLE STROBE=ON in the service menu if at lower than 100hz (at 100hz and higher, this setting is ignored).

You can use a VT tweak in the range of 1497-1502 (this is the range Lightboost uses internally for accelerated scanout), but there are some refresh rates that won't work with this.
60hz doesn't; use VT 1354 at 60hz.
however for some strange reason, 61hz works with VT 1502.

85hz works ONLY with VT 1501. The other values cause repeated stuttering. The "Low" range of VT 1350 works ok too, but I like less crosstalk from a higher VT.

I tested 80hz briefly, either VT 1500 or 1502 works.
However if you are using uncommon refresh rates, you MUST carefully test your VT Tweak in TESTUFO/ALIEN INVASION and look very carefully for repeated stuttering or "pulsating" backlight, which will happen at the same time as the stuttering. If this happens, change your VT tweak by 1 and try again.

Note: 75hz does not work at all with VT 1497-1502. Out of range. 1350 is fine.
76hz goes out of range more than half the time, so it's unusable. 1350 is fine at 76hz. 77hz is also unreliable. I think 78hz worked in the high VT rangfe however.
