Just wanted to add to this that saved setting include the Blur Reduction. So if you have Gamer 1 saved with blur reduction and gamer 2 with none Gamer 1 will turn blur reduction back on. Probably not surprising for most, but wanted to make sure everyone knew about this.

BR is available at all refresh rates on the XL2540, however, there's some users who report Blur Reduction (with certain adjustments in Service Menu) looks best at approximately ~180Hz and under. This is normal, as Blur Reduction needs a refresh safety margin (to allow LCD GtG to settle in darkness between strobe backlight flashes).

Or if you prefer to avoid strobing, there is noticeably less motion blur and mouse droppings (phantom array effect during fixated gaze) at 240Hz than 120Hz.
What do u mean by mouse droppings?

Btw what settings do u guys use on this monitor.. Both BR off and on.. (Blur reduction ON 240hz is not the best for me)

Also.. Whats the highest VT value that can be set with 180HZ?

Why not just 180? Why the .745?

I found that I couldn't use a VT as high when using 180. I'm not sure why.

Guys, I need to confirm please:

Adaptive sync (Freesync) only works on this monitor if you MANUALLY edit in the freesync range in ToastyX CRU (48hz-144hz or something) in the extension block, and then have blur reduction off in the service menu?

Can you guys please confirm?
