Phantom array effect going mainstream!

Post by Haste » 19 Apr 2017, 16:07

200K + views on this Youtube video from NCIX Tech Tips titled "144Hz vs 240Hz - Can you see the difference? ft. ASUS PG258Q Gaming Monitor"

Here is the interesting part where they kind of explain/vulgarize the phantom array effect:

Another video that garnered a lot of views (100K+ views) and showcased the artifact was 2kliksphilip's video "Asus PG248Q Review: Unboxing and Testing"

@Chief,

We need an article explaining the stroboscopic stepping/phantom array effect on the main Blurbusters site.

Similar to this post you made: http://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic ... =333#p3006
Monitor: Gigabyte M27Q X

We agree, an article is in order!

That said, we are looking for extra freelance writers to write articles once now and then. We've got a couple writers lined up, but looking for more writers. I'm working behind the scenes on some new Blur Busters display-testing inventions, so we need more people to write the content/articles. I will write some of the articles, but are recruiting extra help -- there's SO many topics to write about and not enough pairs of hands.

NOTE: Freelancers are paid per article -- standard freelance rates, which can range up to the low three-figures for larger articles that also includes original (exclusive) images. If you're an experienced freelancer, know your specific topic matter very well, and want to write once in a while for Blur Busters, get in touch!

Inquire within squad[at]blurbusters.com. Thank you!
