Re: ULMB 2 Released
Tnx! I have seen that one too! I see you have a pretty sweet setup. If you could upgrade your PG279QM right now, free of charge, would it be with the PG27AQN? Hope to hear from you!jorimt wrote: ↑19 Jun 2023, 08:28There's this recent video from TFT Central as well:daviddave1 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2023, 04:35tnx ive seen that. Re: ULMB 2 Released
I had planned on purchasing the PG27AQN since its announcement, but wasn't in a rush due to already owning a PG279QM, but the new firmware including ULMB 2 and variable overdrive improvements piqued my interest, so I ordered one and should have it sometime this week.daviddave1 wrote: ↑19 Jun 2023, 09:38Tnx seen that one too! I will be using my PG279QM as a secondary monitor.

Re: ULMB 2 Released
Is there any way to keep ULMB 2 on all the time?
I have three monitors and it's a bit of a pain to be constantly reaching around to the back of the monitor OSD to re-enable ULMB 2 every time I start a game. Is there something that I should do so its just enabled all the time? I am on Windows 11 and have Monitor Technolgy set to ULMB.
I was using the PG27AQDM which is very nice, but ULMB 2 is amazing, I prefer the smoothness over the contrast of the OLED. I think the optimum tech video really doesnt do the difference justice. To me, being able to look around in games and not seeing much duplication/trails/blur is insane. Also, this version of ULMB doesn't give me a headache like the previous implementations, maybe because it's brighter.

Re: ULMB 2 Released
ULMB2 Doesn't stay on all the time? Sorta like what's it called with the 390Hz? wt!?
Re: ULMB 2 Released
if anyone is curious, the 25" mode in the PG27AQN adds negligible lag.. this is something i was concerned about, but the 25" mode can be used with no worries of added latency. Thanks to TFTCentral for testing it

Re: ULMB 2 Released
Does it ad 1.6 ms lag compared to native 1440P ? that's not really negligible. Or is it total 1.6 ms lag compared to lets say 1.4 ms lag in native res ( for measures)

Re: ULMB 2 Released
Set to Fixed Refresh instead of ULMB in nvidia control panel and it will remain enabled after you turn it on in the OSD.frunction wrote: ↑19 Jun 2023, 17:27Is there any way to keep ULMB 2 on all the time?
