Re: G-Sync SLI, ROG Swift PG278Q questions
Testing the feel of G-sync vs No V-sync at 100+ fps G-sync feels slightly smoother to me but at 35 fps No V-sync (144 Hz) feels smoother but tears badly. The stutter at 35 fps really hurts both without G-sync and with G-sync and SLI. With G-sync and a single card 35 fps is simply slow with a lot of ...

Re: G-Sync SLI, ROG Swift PG278Q questions
I'm seeing a lot of chatter on other forums concerning SLI issues with G-Sync. The one thing I keep hearing, that really f'n scares me: "G-sync stutters on SLI." Is this for real? Smoothing out my jittery high frame rate experience was my entire motive for purchasing the ROG Swift. My monitor is ...

Re: G-Sync causing Battlefield 4 crashes
My monitor is backordered, but I jumped on board despite this issue. I know I'll regret it.
But I'm hopeful that Nvidia can address any SLI/g-sync issues with driver updates. That said, this technology isn't exactly brand-spanking-new. There have been a number of g-sync users for several months now ...

Yeah, I got my shipping upgraded/waved, but I'm still pretty pissed.
But I knew this would happen. I even said as much. Tiger f'n Direct.

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
Well, Neo_Bogard was correct. Tiger Direct does not have these in stock. Even though they listed the item as "In Stock". Customer support told me they are hoping for a shipment in the 2nd or 3rd week of September! I guess blur hating gamers are more prevalent than I thought. Never expected an $800 ...

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
I also ordered one from Tiger Direct. I would have prefered to get it from Newegg, since they frequently ship from a nearby location, and I have been a customer for decades. I've also experienced Tiger being less than honest with their "in stock" status in the past, so I hope I don't get burnt!
And ...

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)
Newegg's page just added the auto-notify button this afternoon, so that's promising.
If it goes on sale tomorrow, and I catch it, I really want to buy this monitor. I really wish I were a little more confident that it would work correctly with my hardware. The Battlefield thread, complete with the ...

Re: G-Sync causing Battlefield 4 crashes
I hate bumping this, having the last reply, but does anyone have further information on this? G-Sync compatibility with SLI and BF4 is critical to me, and I am very much ready to purchase a Swift if this will work properly. The SLI issue would destroy the viability of this product for me.
