Re: Can someone compare MAG251RX vs Zowie XL2546k
BenQ : - tons of tearing - tons of ghosting  I mean, the better is motion clarity the easier it is to notice tearing or microstutters in general, strobing is a good example, but there isn't any noticeable ghosting with Dyac OFF on my unit and 240hz still feels cleaner than 144. I think there ...

Re: Can someone compare MAG251RX vs Zowie XL2546k
but lower input lag, snapier, faster pixel responviness. The new IPS panels have lower input lag and this has been common knowledge for almost a year. The zowie has better response times though. Edit: just saw you have BenQ XL2420Z not the xl2546k. I really don't know why you think it's smoother wh...

Re: Can someone compare MAG251RX vs Zowie XL2546k
I got XL2420z and MSI MAG251RX. The MSI is really nice and smooth but I still use the old benQ for competitive gaming : shit colors and contrast, tons of tearing even at 144hz144fps, but lower input lag, snapier, faster pixel responviness. ELMB on the MSI is dark, as it is with the benQ 2420z, you n...

Re: The Official *MSI Optix MAG251RX* Owners Thread
Well after a month and so, i can assure that I have less input lag with my benQ XL2420Z tn 144hz screen I've tried in every configuration (gsync on&off with vsync on&off) while the MSI is responsive for an IPS, it doesnt reach the benQ TN i can assure that! For competitive i'll stay with my TN, but ...

Re: The Official *MSI Optix MAG251RX* Owners Thread
Good news ! I got my bit depth to do 10bit finally while still at 240hz 1920x1080 native resolution. The issue was, I guess I did the CRU thing wrong when I first did it a couple months ago. I got it to do Native PC 240hz, but something was holding it up as far as the color depth.. Super weird. I h...

@RLCS Thank you for your comment. I edited my comment actualy but yeah, after few days on my 240hz, i went back to my 144hz and it now hurts my eyes. I can not give it back I love it too much. I'm just reading everywhere about this 1440p sweet spot thing and my eyes want to see that too. Do you have...

MAG251RX ($479) or AW2521HF ($412)? Hey guys, I'm too stupid to decide myself, could you help me please? -my average framerate is 60-120 fps, not going to keep it 240+ (don't want 144 hz version because they all have SPEAKERS=dust collector, and I need only a true 8-bit panel so 24" 144hz IPS 1080p...

Re: 144fps on native 240hz monitor vs 144fps on native 144hz monitor
If you use VRR (gsync/freesync) then it's better than 144Hz. If not, then you get microstutter. Thanks for your reply. Awesome. Yep I'll use VRR most of time. So I should stick with 240hz VRR ON and not selecting hertz frequency depending on how many frames per seoncds my game is running. Except if...

144fps on native 240hz monitor vs 144fps on native 144hz monitor
Hello guys, I'll try to be as clear and short as possible : If I play a game that I cap at 144FPS on a 240hz monitor. Will it look the same, better, or not as good as playing 144fps on a native 144Hz monitor ? (if we imagine that they have the same panels and everything, just a different native hert...
