Re: VG259QM Large Vertical Totals help
I copied and modified the 280Hz from the detailed list, then selected Vertical Total Calculator from the drop down menu of the newest version of CRU (version 1.5.2) and entered the refresh rate. ELMB-sync seems to be ON on my vg279qm at 200Hz currently. I tried lower refresh rates but didn't find mo...

Re: high input lag
Gigabyte lists a newer chipset version: B550 AORUS ELITE V2 (rev. 1.0) - 3.10.22.706 compared to 3.10.08.506 from the AMD site. Check if your revision is correct. My ASUS board also lists these newer drivers on their support site. You could also try to re-install your mouse drivers, delete/remove al...

Re: Which hz/dpi setting is best for mice?
Quick question: Chief posted "Due to Nyquist factors / rounding factors, one wants a dpi factor at least several times movement over screen resolution as of a safety margin." I don't really size this concept. Does it mean horizontal resolution or vertical resolution? Should DPI > 1920 or > 1080. Wo...

Re: high input lag
Personally, disabling 'Global C-States' in bios did the trick without disabling SMT fully.

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
I have a problem with lower resolutions not sticking. I want to run games in Fullscreen exclusive and the monitor to run at 900p@280Hz without GPU scaling. When applying 1600x900 (900p) resolution via the Nvidia 497.09 control panel I'm seeing it reported to the monitor as 1080p and visually seeing ...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
From changelist:
"LCD reduced" has been eliminated because it was too arbitrary and only worked for certain resolutions. Try "Exact reduced" for an alternative.

Re: 280Hz: vsync + gsync gives 260fps lock?
After some more testing I think I prefer gsync + vsync, nv latency=on, and ingame cap 2% below refresh. I take back what I said about using 199fps at 200Hz at LLM Ultra - 196fps@200Hz felt better in all cases. One interesting observation is that I noticed a +95% load on one CPU core when using Nv La...

Re: 280Hz: vsync + gsync gives 260fps lock?
The detailed responses are really appreciated, thanks. As jorimt pointed out, I made the mistake of selecting "Ultra" latency instead of "On" - Looking back at the g-sync conclusion article , it was clearly stated there but I must've forgot. :) I'd also be interested to see the results if you make t...

280Hz: vsync + gsync gives 260fps lock?
So, I tried experimenting with vsync and gsync following recommendations to cap ingame fps below refresh rate but vsync seems to cap the framerate to 260fps when maximum refresh is 280Hz. Is this normal or am I missing something? I'm trying this with Diabotical with an ingame cap of ~277fps on a vg2...

Re: ELMB-Sync experiences?
How can I make 140fps at 280Hz look good? My initial assumption was that it would be clearer with VRR off, ELMB on, and RTSS capped at 140fps, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Do I need to look into software black frame insertion?
