Those 360Hz GSync monitors are all the same hardware and software wise. I guess NVIDIA pretuned the software a lot, and also restricts big changes in it. For example, it's comical how much NXG253R (nvidia tuned) lacks in Black Equalizer performance to MAG251RX (msi own tuned) Strobing is also subpar...

It's obviously a placeholder price. Don't make any assumtions on it

Wait for XG2431 if you need strobing.
Otherwise go for any 27" 1440p AUO FastIPS or LG NanoIPS model.

Last time I've checked the page, the XG2431 had like 43 votes. Then I saw your post and it had 91 votes.
Quite an amazing jump, considering there were no new news/articles about the monitor.
