Hey I'm sorry for reviving this old question but I also got this problem but with ROG Swift PG278Q. Same problem as the OP stated. I also observed that when playing games, if I set my refresh rate at 144 Hz and the G-sync is on, it flickers. But when I turn it off, the flickering is gone.
