I own the Viewsonic XG2402 and it meets your requirements. Playing on Xbox One X (not series) at 1080p + 120hz over HDMI. Displayport to PC at 1080p + 144hz. i play on xbox one x and xg2402 @ 1080p + 120 Hz.
"allow variable refresh rate" is not available/supported. tried with AMD FreeSync enabled in the osd
The xg2402 OSD confirms 120 Hz over HDMI:
max Pixel Clock:296.8 MHZ

I tested the "Benfei HDMI to DisplayPort Adapter" at 120HZ on the ZOWIE XL2411P 144Hz. The adapter is necessary for this model because the HDMI chip has a max throughput of 60HZ @ 1080p. Will using this adapter to translate the signal reduce the benefit of 120HZ (when the goal is lowest input delay)...
