Re: evaluating xhci usb controller performance
Have you done any testing with PCIE cards that use a sata adapter for extra power? Wondering how much it would improve/harm performance if at all to have it plugged in vs not plugged in.

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!
Anyone notice any difference in performance depending on which game visual setting you choose? I feel like I notice less yellow ghosting when on the RPG profile vs the Racing one. The thing I don't understand is if I look at the saturation, gamma, brightness, and color temperature. I can set them t...

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!
While I'm airing grievances on this monitor, I'll say that at least my specimen is really yellow out of the box. Way worse out-of-the-box color than any past TN I've owned. There's also this baffling thing called "GameVisual" where even Asus' manual doesn't know what it does. By default, "GameVisua...

Re: ASUS ROG Swift 500Hz Announced!
Does anyone else get yellow ghosting on white text when scrolling in your web browser? If I turn off the OD it goes away. I thought this monitor wouldn't have this considering my old one didn't even with OD. Also does anyone have an issue where you get a black screen temporarily everytime you alt ta...

Re: Gaming PC's Are NOT properly grounded to the Case
Changed black coated standoffs and screws to brass and chrome ones. Made zero difference. Because mystical electricity is not the boogeyman and all the lag people experience is likely software related or hardware or placebo. I know but I can't figure out which software or hardware causes it. Common...

Re: Gaming PC's Are NOT properly grounded to the Case
Aren't the cases themselves with the screw holes painted black and have powder coatings on them?

Re: [EMI] 1500mV When computer is running!!!
Seasonic Prime TX-1000 will emit between 300 and 400 mV better than the HX1200 On the video with a test with zero filtering. Unsure what it went YOYO but after that got stable around 370-400 mV Now with the computer running with the new hardware, it seems to emit more EMI. Instead of being at 80-12...
