Re: Why you will NEVER Fix "Desync/Lag" in CSGO.

and the Reason is Lag Compensation.

I tried it all, everything. Optimizing since years and it doesn't change anything.
HIGH end OCed System, FTTH 12ms Ping everywhere.

If you have a very low ping, Lag Compensation will just buffer your packets and thus create artificial lag for you.
The faster ...

Re: CSGO seems laggy on 240Hz

I have a problem with smoothness in games.
I was using an Acer KG251QDBMIIPX 240Hz monitor and everything was fine but I felt that the games were not as smooth as, for example, at esports tournaments where the best gear is laid out. The monitor was also more than 4 years old so I decided it was ...

Re: Question for competitive FPS games. Which would be better, Higher unlocked FPS or G-Sync locked at the same refresh

I have heard multiple different opinions on this question and figured I might as well ask here.

I have a dell g-sync 165hz monitor, but my system can push beyond 165fps in many games (13700k, 4080) I've tried switching between unlocked FPS (Or locked to a 3x interval of 165x3=495) and G-sync (FPS ...

Re: would buying an old PC solve it?

It's not something in the human's perception, I wish it was. Buy an old lga775 pc, install winxp and you will be surprised how good everything is. Windows 7 with disabled composition is not even close to perfection of this os and how input-lagless it is. I blamed every single part in my pc, then ...

Re: would buying an old PC solve it?

I think it's not the pc parts, it's the OS. Win 7 and 8.1 were noticeably laggier and the input lag persisted with the same old pc, whereas Win XP was completely fine even without any tweaking, just vsync disabled. Now what I observed was that the fps was dropping even in CS 1.6 on both win7/8 ...
