Re: MSI MAG274QRF QD : how to warm it up for better response time ?
Yeah, seems a bit risky. I can maybe try to cover the intake holes with something less thick. Still searching for other ways. For now, all i do is run at max brightness always. Improving response times is actually very important for my enjoyment as i mostly game competitive on this monitor.

MSI MAG274QRF QD : how to warm it up for better response time ?
Hi,
I bought few days ago an msi mag274qrf qd. It's a praised 27" 1440p 165hz ips panel that advertises very fast response time.
After few days of using it, I have mixed feelings about its performance. It's weird, sometimes it performs very well and the gameplay is very fluid. But other times, it ...

Re: BenQ XL2546K 240hz vs Alienware AW2521H 360hz
If you don’t care about picture quality, I would go with the Benq. It’s the most famous monitor in esports scene and particularly for fps games. It’s a safe bet, recommended by almost everyone.
Keep in mind those 360hz panels are not true 360hz by any means. Response time doesn’t really keep up ...

Re: Looking for: best 27" 240hz+ counter-strike monitor
This thread is interesting, I have personally been disappointed by the omen x25f while owning a benq xl2411p precedently. This experience made me think 240hz panels do not yet achieve same performance as old best 144hz like the benq and the asus vg248qe. But looking at this thread, it looks like ...

Re: HP omen x25f blur : disappointed
what speed are you talking about? Response time, input lag or is everything very blurry?
I'm talking about response time.
Ok, so after continuing using it, It's actually not that bad. I still feel the xl2411p is snappier though. Maybe it's cause i drop under 200fps when the game advances. It ...

HP omen x25f blur : disappointed
Hi,
I bought an hp omen x25f coming from an old benq xl2411p and i'm so disappointed by its performance. While the picture is very good for a tn panel (way better than the benq), the speed is not there. This is very ironic for a so called 240hz that uses new AUO tn panel...gets destroyed by a 5 ...

Re: 240Hz Gaming Monitor recommendation
ASUS VG259QM is a very good 280 Hz IPS monitor, featuring fastIPS panel which competes with TN performance, it achieves 1.9 ms average GTG response time (overdrive set to 80) with moderate overshoot (I don't notice it in CS:GO). Probably the best IPS monitor you can buy for FPS games, it's ...

LG 27LG850, is Faster overdrive setting usable in practice ?
Hello,
I am considering buying this monitor. As response time is extremely important to me, i need to know if the faster mode is still usable. According to tftcentral and hardware unboxed, it produces way too much overshoot (72% overage error with some going to 400%..). But I would want opinions ...
