Re: VRR flicker on two different Native G-sync monitors??
Yes I am talking about the same flickering as you are. in part, why some models, especially those with higher physical refresh rates (240Hz+), start LFC earlier. For instance, instead of starting LFC below 36 FPS, it may start it at, say, 60 FPS. This makes a lot of sense. I guess people don't buy t...

VRR flicker on two different Native G-sync monitors??
I have a native g-sync TN panel 240hz monitor and i get bad vrr flicker in some old games which stutter but the flicker also starts to occur faintly under 60fps in all games. It obviously gets worse the lower the framerate after that. I thought I would try out an IPS panel as i was told that they do...

Two different monitors. Same G-Sync fluctuation issue?
Omen x 25 and the MSI NXG253R. One is a TN 240hz and the other is an IPS 360hz. Both native full vrr range g-sync Same annoying brightness fluctuation when ever the fps is moving up and down even if the framerates are only slowly moving between 40 to 50 fps etc. I tried the cru thing but it didn't m...

What causes the prices to drop considerably for some monitors?
The MSI NXG253R was £700 when it was released which was only about 18 months a go?
Since then I have seen it on sale in many stores twice and at the moment it is under £400!?
What causes such a price drop? I never saw prices of many of the previous G-Sync monitors drop much if at all.

Does anyone own the MSI NXG253R, What do you think I should do?
I saw that it came down in price quite a lot. I looked on rtings and it showed and said that its has about average black uniformity. I've searched again online and other reviews said it has perfect uniformity. I've strugged with my G-Sync monitor which I have now which I bought a couple of years a g...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Was looking at these IPS panels. Going by the ratings website this one out of all the 360hz panels seems to be best for grey and black uniformity. Is it good for back light bleed too? From. My experience these newer monitors with the thin bezels usually have 0 back light bleed. What are the whites l...

Re: [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS] ViewSonic unveils monitors for 2021 (The new 240Hz 24" king?)
Let's hope that it doesn't suffer with that gsync brightness flicker at the low frame rates etc that my last two monitors have suffered with.
Does that get tested at all?

Difference between g-sync on and off under 30fps
I don't see much if any difference under 30fps. Anyone else have the same experience? I have native G-Sync.
I suppose that when you get to 20 to 30fps that everything looks pretty ***p either way.
