Could that be a new revision of the same panel or something? if I'm not mistaken the PG258Q uses an 8bit panel(6bit+FRC), and according to a few leaks of that upcoming RTINGS review (on the 4th page), the VG258QM uses a 10bit panel(8bit +FRC).

I can only get 10bit with a refresh rate of 120hz.

Same panel but now we have 280hz and a better implementation of ELMB. Unfortunately this is the market.

For me main aspect is input lag, I used these 240hz IPS: Acer vg252qx, Acer vg272qx, Acer xv273x, Acer xv272ux and have been using Asus vg279qm right now, any of these panels faster in that term than any TN's, in my experience xf252qx and vg258qm were the fastest from TN's and of course TN's have s...
