Re: Help me find a suitable 144hz monitor

If you don't mind TN then search no more. Go for the ViewSonic XG240R. How does it performs in term of response time? I see on RTINGS that the previous model XG2402 has outstanding performance for 144hz, is the XG240R just a revisited version of the XG2402? I managed to try out the asus VG248qe, it...

Re: BenQ XL2540K or Asus VG258QM

Hello everyone, Just wanted to know if anyone has some UFO pictures or videos from the different overdrives of the xl2540k, looks like there's no reviews of this monitor yet... I'm very hyped about this monitor but i'm aware that the previous model suffers from visible light artifacts wich is very b...

Re: Help me find a suitable 144hz monitor

Actually i'm using the recommanded overdrive provided by Rtings "fast" without any corona artifacts, i tried the higher one wich offered more clarity but has corona and it's unplayable (facts i played better thanks to the clarity motion issue but corona artifacts are way too distracting), i think i...

Re: Help me find a suitable 144hz monitor

Well it's been 5-6 month i have the LG monitor and i believe it provides more motion blur than expected even tho the reviews of the LG are good overall (something feels weird..), OR, i think the overdrive might introduce more blur at higher refresh rates. Isn't it suppose to be the opposite?? like ...

Re: XL2411Z alternative with DP?

so I did get an ASUS VG248QG and it as inversion artifacts at 144hz and higher but it doesn't at 120hz. when over 120Hz you can try tweaking setting to mitigate it but it will still be there. And damn I miss black eQualizer. Hello i was wondering if you tried this monitor with g sync on? does it pr...

Re: Help me find a suitable 144hz monitor

I'd advice you to keep your 27GN750 despite the fact it does not have backlight strobing. Through time of using it you'd see you don't really need strobing. It would be nice if you had a chance to test it for a few weeks. I upgraded from 240 TN non-strobed to 240 strobed and I did not benefit from ...

Help me find a suitable 144hz monitor

Hello guys, I'm starting this topic cause i'm deseperately trying to find myself a good 1080p 144hz-165hz gaming monitor, i've got a pretty noice config (3070 - i6 10600k -16g ram) and i get 144fps consistent in pretty much every shooters. I know this is totally overkill for 144hz 1080p but i enjoy ...
