Re: Nvidia finally fixed color depth in custom resolutions?!
Havent tested it yet but out of curiousty, why 195Hz? I set it to 195Hz because of the brightness flickering this monitor suffers from when using VRR: After some testing with this unit, I found out the flicker occurs every time the refresh rate reported by the monitor OSD crosses these values: 80, ...

Nvidia finally fixed color depth in custom resolutions?! (Confirmed)
Hi everyone I just noticed, after updating my nvidia game-ready drivers to 471.11, that I can now set a custom resolution (actually just custom refresh rate) on NVCP and still get 10-bit color depth. Context: I recently noticed that every time I selected my custom 2560x1440 195Hz custom reolution, t...

Re: Framerate Cap, g/sync and brightness flickering (Odyssey G7)
I really hope these findings might help anyone who owns this monitor and wants to use it's VRR feature without Flickering or Stuttering (setting VRR control in the monitor OSD eliminates flickering but introduces stuttering): After playing around with games that would hit different framerates, I was...

Re: MAME emulator and 240Hz monitor
What Monitor do you have? My guess is it works that way because your monitor has different overdrive voltages for 144Hz and 240Hz. Usually, as far as I know, fast monitors have better responde times and less overshoot close to their maximum refresh rate. That said, I suppose the GPU driver sets the ...

Re: Framerate Cap, g/sync and brightness flickering (Odyssey G7)
It could still be flickering because Low-Framerate Compensation (LFC) kicks in for slow frames. If you are seeing an average of 65 FPS, there can still be frames that are too slow. Try checking the 0.1% FPS to see if this could be the issue. The best solution is to run those games at a 60 Hz refres...
