Might be.. Try enabling jumbo packets, packet coalescing, adaptive inter-frame spacing and interrupt moderation "Set to medium or above" in your ethernet's advanced settings tab. You can also increase transmit and receive buffers, and some other options that you can do through regedit that I can't ...
