Re: PG27AQN max Hz with DSC off?
Thanks for the info!
I have another question related to DSC.
I got a XG27AQM and it still shows DSR when i put it in 270Hz 10bit RGB. Shouldn't it max out the bandwith, enable DSC and disable DSR?
There is no DSC toggle in the menu. Is it always running DSC, even in 8bit?

PG27AQN/XG27AQM DSC questions
What's the highest Hz the PG27AQN can do at 1440p with DSC turned off?
Bandwith wise DP 1.4 should do something like 290Hz at 8bit?
Would appreciate if users could try this out and report back

Re: After what refresh rate did you stop feeling the improvement in smoothness?
Unconventional 280Hz. I notice a difference to 240Hz. I use no syncs, no strobing, fixed refresh and Hz=fps or higher fps. On 240Hz i notice blur and tearing on fast swipes, but at 280Hz, i guess it blends in with my personal capability of detecting blur and tearing virtually disappears. I also star...

VG259QM polarizer information
I sadly messed up my VG259QM while trying to peel the antiglare coating. Yes, I peeled the polarizer off with it... What information is important for a replacement? panellook.com didn't seem to help. Also, where to source a replacement from? (based in Germany) Could i apply the film myself, or is pr...

Re: Asus VG258QM vs Dell S2522HG
No. Enabling OD Strong Weak, produces its own OD setting, hence the weird OSD glitch.
Just select normal OD 3, then go to the Testufo ghosting site and put a speed of like 1440pp/s.
Then go into the Service menu, follow the ufo while enabling OD Strong Weak, you'll see the difference.

Re: Asus VG258QM vs Dell S2522HG
We call it 3.5 because performance wise it kinda sits in between 3 and 4.
