Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Just moved from VG279QM to Acer XV240 F6. Didnt found any reviews online, only some chinese videos. Its a 24' 600hz TN panel. The image quality is not far from the ips, the PPI is a bit better and i saw a very noticiable increase in text quality, input lag is a bit better than the asus and the ...

Re: ASUS TUF Gaming VG279QM - Overshoot fix for OD 100, 280Hz
ELMB-sync force it to 80 OD, and I think it just change to a less agressive overdrive, like 90 when you use OD 100 and switches on and off ELMB.

Re: Overclocking results into worse gamma?
I have Acer XB273UNX, which supports official overclocking to 275 Hz. But I noticed that going to 275 Hz results in significantly worse gamma curve. Is this normal?
I've noticied this too on Asus VG279QM after enabling 280hz OC and normal 240hz. And theres a more agressive change in gamma curve ...

Re: What is the "best" way to stream with the lowest input lag?
I think with todays GPUs like 4090, you can stream using NVENC and call it a day. I have an ok PC (5700x, 16gb 3600mhz, 4070ti) and can stream CS2 on 1080p60 wih no issues related to input lag or FPS drops, i presume someone with 7800x3D, DDR5 ram, 4090 etc would even feel anything at all.

Re: Need help - ASUS VG259QM - suddenly capped at 144hz
Guys, try using C.R.U and deleting all resolutions and HZ's but 280hz. Ive been using this method since 2020 and never had this issue. I tested in the new CS2 before doing that and it got stuck at 59hz lol.

Re: ZOWIE XL2566K Discussion Thread [24.5" 360hz TN]
Remember framerate=Hz
DYAC + 144FPS = Meh (a no for mee)
You need to intentionally lower your refresh rate to 144Hz to make it look good.
DYAC + 240FPS = Yes, quite acceptable
You need to intentionally lower your refresh rate to 240Hz to make it look good.
DYAC + 360FPS = Amazing, you can ...

Re: Couldn't find out which USB ports are the CPUs & which are the Chipset's
You can easily verify the port by going into hwinfo main window→bus→check which controller is which; with Zen it will show the CPU and chipset controllers separately.

Re: TUF VG258QM 280hz opinions
I have TUF259QM 280hz (IPS version) and it suffers from 2 bugs
1) requires really good DP cable. I threw to rubbish bin the stock one (monitor turned off and back on display randomly) and even the stock one from my alienware (which works with alienware 240hz properly). Needed to buy expensive 8K ...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
I just want to drop in again as I cannot stress enough how insanely good the performance is at 235Hz OD100, it is so much better than any other setting in terms of response time. I just switched the timing in cru from manual to exact and now I can quickly alt tab from games and adaptive sync seems ...
