I think with todays GPUs like 4090, you can stream using NVENC and call it a day. I have an ok PC (5700x, 16gb 3600mhz, 4070ti) and can stream CS2 on 1080p60 wih no issues related to input lag or FPS drops, i presume someone with 7800x3D, DDR5 ram, 4090 etc would even feel anything at all.

Guys, try using C.R.U and deleting all resolutions and HZ's but 280hz. Ive been using this method since 2020 and never had this issue. I tested in the new CS2 before doing that and it got stuck at 59hz lol.

You can easily verify the port by going into hwinfo main window→bus→check which controller is which; with Zen it will show the CPU and chipset controllers separately. I don't know if its known or not but i managed to use the native 1080p@280hz in desktop and 1024x768@280hz@10-bit display scaling in csgo. The link provided by "Lucasre5" worked for my VG279QM MC103. It just a little buggy, sometimes it shows incompatible display. Make sure to enable DDC/CI in OSD before running the software.

Its a shame theres no software for this model.

I have had a look and couldn't find this already asked here. As an AMD GPU user, it seems that freesync only works between 40 - 240hz even when the display is set to 280hz OC mode.
