Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag

IMPORTANT NOTE TO ENGINEERS / Ph.D's While most of the time, this is a wild goose to red herrings, and EMI is definitely not the cause of most computer lag problems -- there are actual cases of EMI creating human-perceptible latencies because of the large amounts of error-detect-and-retransmit mech...

Re: Weird input lag at day time only

Fluctuating voltage or frequency is the basis for complaint to your electricity provider. Especially fluctuating frequency can really mess your electronic devices so check your contract and contact them but firstly I would record some evidences. Regarding CS:GO I have pretty significant improvement...

Re: Interference causing stutter and bad controls - My theory and a potential solution

This is just an update to my thread. I have a Furman Elite 16 PF E1 with new power cables to connect both my PS4 and monitor to. Long story short, it did not solve the imprecise controls/lag issue. It did make some difference, I felt as though the video banks which had ultrasonic filtering made a s...

Mouse is having input lag, but when i disconnect it and plug it in it's gone for 10 seconds and comes back.

I suspect this might be an electricity issue, mouse feels heavy and varies on the day. Feels better on the night rather than the day.

I'm also living close to a laundry room.

My current PSU is from a factory built computer from HP, it's 310 watt. Could an upgrade be a possible fix for this?

Re: You guys are my last hope for fixing my problem

also i need to clarify again that, if i give my pc 208v instead of 220v (which should be normally) the feeling is much more better. EDIT: Important Note: This reply only addresses 208 vs 220v weirdness See subsequent posts (Glide, me) for cause of skewing. There may be other placebos or other probl...

Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag

I'm having this issue with input lag and its killing me honestly, im getting depressed by it. I can't game.. It's so weird when i wrap foil around the mouse cable it feels better. I can't use wireless mice either, even those in top class because i notice the lag. It's so complex i don't know what's ...
