Curious Blur in Some Games
It seems to me that games with mandatory TAA like BF2042 and Borderlands 3 appears blurry even when the camera is not moving. This can be fixed if I use higher than native resolution scaling. At 200% resolution scaling, the image quality is exceptional. I'm curious what is the cause of this blur and...

Re: NVME SSD for Least Amount of Streaming Stutter?
I am referring to in-game stutter. I tried to build a pc that can play most modern games locked at 120fps 1080p with motion blur reduction enabled. Unfortunately it just does not work (no matter how much time and money I throw at it) except for the competitive titles/older games. CPU bottleneck is a...

NVME SSD for Least Amount of Streaming Stutter?
Hi all, building a new pc and am looking for a nvme ssd that would help with streaming stutter. Should I be looking for random read qd1 performance?
Is ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB a good one for this? It does very well on anandtech's Burst 4kb Random Read (QD1) test and is fairly inexpensive. Thanks!

Re: Help me pick a new monitor under $600
I'd recommend the Viewsonic xg270. It fits all your criteria and the ulmb mode is the best out there for a IPS panel atm ("Blur Buster Approved"). No 60hz strobing though. If that's important you can wait for the release of the ViewSonic XG2431 later this month. It is a smaller screen with Blur Bust...

You could also explore the option of a VR headset. They have much improved refresh rate nowadays.

Stutter due to memory timing?
Hi all, currently I am building an overkill gaming pc to achieved locked 120fps for all games. While researching parts, I came upon this issue. Does RAM timing affect stutter? If you search on Youtube "CL14 vs CL16 vs CL18 RAM (DDR4 ) Test" you will find a benchmark of games with RAM set at CL 14, 1...

CPU recommendation for 120 locked gaming
Hi guys, I recently went from 1440p ultrawide to 1080p viewsonic xg270. Now I found myself CPU limited as much as GPU limited on my old i7 4790k. Given how impossible it is to get a GPU atm, I've decided to upgrade my CPU instead. Which CPU do you recommend for 120fps locked in as many games as poss...
