Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread
Currently yes but I tested in both scenarios on and off, but I always turn off manually anyway. About 1/10th of the time, the power supply just stays active and I don't find out until the next day.

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread
Can someone confirm if they have the issue I'm experiencing? Every once in a while after turning everything off, the internal power supply of the monitor will still stay on so the power brick and monitor stay hot. I always turn off the monitor manually with the power button so this has nothing to do...

Re: Dell AW2521H vs Asus ROG PG259QN
Any updates on your choice and opinions tranta with your further testing last month? I would just say pick the one you like the design of more unless one of the things I mentioned earlier matters more to you. My personal choice was actually both in a dual setup as I love them too much and realized ...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread
Are the color temperature and max brightness supposed to lower in 60Hz mode? In 60Hz mode both from PC and console I lose about 50 nits at max brightness and I need to do a custom color temperature of about 84-84-100 to get the same effect as at other refresh rates. I checked my other settings and n...

Re: Dell AW2521H vs Asus ROG PG259QN
Zero difference, i have tested both. PG259QN felt better overall so I went with that. Yeah I just got a PG259QN and at least in Normal mode it looks the same if not a tad cleaner than the Alienware AW2521H in Super Fast mode. However, the Alienware's Fast (default) mode has a shorter blur trail tha...

Re: The Official *Dell Alienware AW2521H 360Hz* Owners Thread
It lets you enable ULMB if you disable G-Sync in NVCP and set refresh rate to 144Hz or 240Hz. I was able to get 363Hz working from a custom resolution in NVCP but with some tweaking to the timings you might be able to hit 370Hz. I remember my old Samsung 60Hz monitor was only working up to 70Hz, bu...

Re: Dell AW2521H vs Asus ROG PG259QN
Anyone have first hand experience comparing the motion clarity on both? RTINGS review shows the Alienware is quite ahead in motion clarity but I wonder how visible that actually is.

Re: The Official *Dell Alienware AW2521H 360Hz* Owners Thread
This monitor has been amazing however now I want more. I wish I could: - Overclock it to 390hz (can I?) - Enable ULMB / strobbing (I can't) That said, in terms of clarity, color, brightness and build quality, the monitor has been superb. I feel as if Dell/Alienware COULD enable those features via a...

Re: The Official *Dell Alienware AW2521H 360Hz* Owners Thread
I wanted to share that I found the gamma tests you can find online will give different results depending on your input refresh rate, while actual gamma isn't changing. I think it has something to do with how the monitor strobes or scans at intermediate refresh rates that produces weird results speci...
