Re: Optimal settings when GPU-limited?
Please keep in mind that rtss adds an estimated ~7 ms due to having to buffer an additional frame and thus should only be used in non-competitive scenarios.

Re: Spread Spectrum
BLCK SS isn't the only form of spread spectrum. FIVR Spread Spectrum, RFI Spread Spectrum, pcie pll ssc, VRM spread spectrum etc. I recommend trying the others. A lot of bios settings are hidden (thanks to board manufacturers being useless like usual). There's literally no reason not to let people ...

Re: Rant/Education/Latency/Tips
Latency: Not all latency is perceptually the same System latency is highly complex and variable when you don't lock down all variables. Almost every part of your system has some sort of power saving feature(s) affecting latency including your OS. A lot of power saving features can't be conventional...

Re: Nvidia Driver 471.96 Adresses high DPC issues
How's that 510.06 Driver doin? I tried it briefly but went back to 471.96 While we're in a driver thread, could someone please report on wddm 3.0 drivers? Set (https://github.com/nlguillemot/trianglebin/releases/tag/v1.0) to 12 Triangles and 78.4% (784) and please a screenshot if possible. [I mysel...

Re: Spread Spectrum
After reading several recommendations on enabling spread spectrum in bios, to combat emi and input lag, I modded my bios to make the option visible as it was hidden in all available bios versions, including beta versions. Unlike what I have seen online, the available options for spread spectrum in ...

Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag
IMPORTANT NOTE TO ENGINEERS / Ph.D's While most of the time, this is a wild goose to red herrings, and EMI is definitely not the cause of most computer lag problems -- there are actual cases of EMI creating human-perceptible latencies because of the large amounts of error-detect-and-retransmit mech...

Re: Nvidia Driver 471.96 Adresses high DPC issues
That's it. Enjoy a (hopefully) smi-free experience. ~aerin0x01 Should it work for every motherboard? And how safe is that? It sounds like a world of pain if we are to mess something up) Should work for most boards, but it's recommended that you test multiple versions of SceWin to be safe. Also, mes...

Re: Nvidia Driver 471.96 Adresses high DPC issues
Just download any 457 version Can you link any credible resources for this claim? Is there a database for DPC latency w/Nvidia drivers? Thanks! > Some apparent driver latency spikes are actually due to smi's in bios, which go unnoticed and show that random drivers are at fault, sometimes it hits th...
