Re: Just ordered my first high refresh display and have questions about 165hz and video playback
Use MadVR's smooth motion processing to deal with video judder. And yes it should Freesync even in windowed full screen apps. Good tip, I’ll check that out for video file playback. For stuff like Netflix and YouTube and Prime that render via the browser (Edge), I’ll need an even pulldown refresh ra...

OLED screens are still sample and hold so they'll still have that blur. I don't believe there are any oled screens that let you use vrr and bfi at the same time.

That Rtings review says to hook up a usb-b cable to use the strobe utility but I've never done that, I use just an hdmi cable and nothing else. Is there some advantage to hooking up the usb or is Rtings just mistaken?

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
Are u able to say if there's a 360Hz version of this monitor coming out anytime soon? Is it in the works, or at least being discussed? 😉 Unfortunately I have to send back the XG2431 because I'm unable to hit the VT 4500 at 60Hz. Before I order a replacement I'm curious if an upgraded version will b...

Re: ViewSonic Now Shipping XG2431 as of NOW!!! [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS]
I got one earlier this week and have been messing with it. At 60hz I get like no crosstalk for the whole panel after increasing the vertical totals, I'm very happy with it. My Samsung Q90T also supports 60hz strobing but it's got ghosting, this ViewSonic looks better. I took pictures to compare but ...
