For latency, "highest" is always best as far as I know. From a smoothness perspective, "highest" is also best when using VRR (freesync/g-sync). Without VRR, matching FPS and Hz is best for smoothness. When i use Highest i Play on 240hz With only roundabout 190-200 fps. Wouldnt that be stuterring af...

Is it better to use gsync on a 240hz when getting only 180 frames or is it better to Set the Monitor to 144 and Limit frames slightl below that ?

Gsync on non gsync Monitor
I dont use a gsync compatible Monitor its AOC agon251fz but its a fressync. When i enable gsync it Shows to me that gsync is active and the Monitor Shows fressync active.
Am i using g sync at this Point when its Shows that its active?

Would u recommend using "highest available" in nvidia settings at this point?
i dont know if i have more input lag when i set to 144 and use prefered refreshrate.

I have the AOC Agon 251FZ Monitor.
and i playing a game which is heavily CPU dependent and the developers even dont recommend using low latency from nvidia.
does some1 know if the low input lag increase maybe cpu load? or is it like only affecting the monitor?
