Re: 27GP850-B for Valorant?
Do you have a specific next monitor in mind I should really be looking at then? Ideally 1440p catered for Valorant I was looking at OLEDs also but figured I'd wait for the new panels I thought I looked at rtings and I think they said bfi introduced like 0.5ms of input delay. I didn't think it would...

Re: 27GP850-B for Valorant?
Besides DyAc on Zowie, ULMB 2.0 on some recent monitors, and a few exceptions like VG2431, BFI is usually not worth using. On your monitor its implementation seems very poor, dropping brightness to a ridiculous 136 nits, leading to duplicate images, and adding +1ms of input lag. So yes it should def...

Re: Dell Announce New Alienware 27″ 1440p 360Hz and 32″ 4K 240Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitors
You can do whatever you want, if you prefer to use a ridiculously low brightness do it. But stop saying that <100 nits is equally optimal to a normal brightness of over 250nits for gaming. That is simply wrong. Have you ever seen a monitor calibrated using ICC profile? For my XG2431, when calibrate...

I suggest you stop trying to pass off your experience and preference as factual info for everyone else. There is nothing personal, I'm only speaking facts. Saying that a brightness below 100 nits is a non issue visibility wise is simply wrong. This topic is getting hard oneguy'd. You're not s...

If you cannot stand a brightness >100nits it is either a bad habit you have or I'd suggest you get an appointment with your doctor. I suggest you stop trying to pass off your experience and preference as factual info for everyone else. There is nothing personal, I'm only speaking facts. Sayin...

Re: Dell Announce New Alienware 27″ 1440p 360Hz and 32″ 4K 240Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitors
having a great brightness is important to clearly distinguish and be reactive to every single details displayed in the screen. No it's not. I've gotten top 500 in OW1 and very high ranks in a few other games playing on 0% brightness back when I played competitive games  You're posting a lot of...
