Re: VG259QM Keeps changing refresh rates
Someone please correct me if this is wrong, but I copied the settings from the existing 280hz mode into a new detailed resolution and deleted the original, and I was left with only 280 as an option in Windows settings after restarting.

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Anyone have black screen issues with 235hz? When I adjust it in CRU, sometimes my screen goes black for 2-3 seconds only to come on again like nothing happens. It's rather intermittent, only happening once every half hour to an hour or so. It has never happened to me when using 280hz.

Re: VG259QM black screen 2 -3 seconds issue
I had a similar issue with this monitor, but only after using CRU to change the refresh rate to 235hz. I never found a solution to it, but it went away for me when going back to 280hz.

Re: Asus XG27AQ doubts
I think you're mixing up two different monitors: there is the PG279QM QHD 240hz gsync model, and the XG27AQM QHD 270hz model which does not have a dedicated gsync module but is gsync compatible. Going up in framerate won't instantly solve the motion blur issue, but it can improve it significantly. A...

How well does the 235hz 100 od work when using Freesync? I should expect overshoot given that my frames typically jump around 170-220, right? I'm currently using OD 120 and am fine with that, but I'm curious to know if others have tried the 235 OD 100 setup and had success at framerates below 235.

Re: MSI Afterburner causing refresh rate test to fail
Just wanted to confirm this also happened for me. Wanted to test my new VG259QM, but I kept getting stutters. Disabling MSI afterburner also fixed the issue for me. Thanks! If you are using overlay graphics and you are using an AMD card, there's a known latency issue with onscreen-display overlay. ...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
Anyone else have issues with the monitor reverting and locking at 144 hz? Alt-tabbing back into MW 2019 seems to revert the monitor to 144hz sometimes, and I cannot change it back to 280hz until I run 'restart' or 'restart64' from CRU. I have tried using 'reset all' from CRU to see if it was somethi...

Re: MSI Afterburner causing refresh rate test to fail
Update: disabling Afterburner removed the large, recurring stutters; however, even though my frametime graph remains in the green 99.99% of the time, the UFO Ghosting test still reports stuttering. It seems the two are not experiencing the same stuttering. I am at a loss of what to do.
