Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
After using a 2546k for a while I wanted to try this monitor for a while. Main reason being that the display scaler on the 2546k is kind of bad. I really like the monitor but I think I have a problem. Whenever I set scaling to monitor in nvcp I still see the 1920x1080 in the osd when playing cs2. An...

Re: little fix for users that have nvme without drivers
Ty you just explained what i said above. Not saying it can’t help with the problem. But installed on the controller instead of nvme drive. It doesn’t matter what brand nvme drive you use because it’s a intel controller

Re: little fix for users that have nvme without drivers
He has a intel mb. I think he thinks he installed this driver for his nvme ssd which is in fact unlikely because the driver is for the intel controller. As seen in his screenshots.. it literally states: controller 🫡

If I’m seeing this correctly you’re installing the driver for the controller and not the m2 drive.

Re: gpu scaling vs Display scaling
Anyone know with a 2546k if the display scaler will be better than a 3080? Also do I use no scaling or full screen? I don’t think so, the scaler is quite bad. With cru you can get it nicer looking but still not as smooth as with gpu scaling. If you ever find out how to get it better pls let me know!

Re: Extended understanding of system timers in Windows.
Timer combinations: For a modern Intel CPU using a TSC timer should be the best option. In Device manager, look for the High Precision Event timer and disable the driver. If you have the option to disable HPET in the BIOS then do so. Open Terminal (Admin) then input the following commands: bcdedit /...

Re: Windows 11 Update Fixes High Polling Rate Stuttering
Is it in the official release? When I look at may 24th update I see it in the English changelogs but not in dutch.
