I may be mistaken but I think they use the same panel.

I am unsure, I might have seen it at 240hz. It seems to mostly happen with dual monitors and 280hz (other monitor 240hz) and I haven't seen it while running the overclock at 288hz which is why I thought something might be funky with the OSD overclock.

Flickering might be because of OC or inadequate cable. Is there a 270 oc option like on VG? Try and figure it out so you don't need to get another one. I'm fairly confident in the cable but otherwise unsure what is causing it. I could do with fresh installing windows as I have had multiple hardware...

Still searching! I really liked the Omen X 27 but that one was more curiosity as I couldn't justify the price right now. I think I would definitely stick with the Acer if it didn't have this flickering issue, so I'm torn between the AOC 24G2ZE and maybe trying another unit of this one.
