Re: ISP routers Power saving features effects on desync

erratic behavior when under heavy load like gaming online. Wut? Max 200 pkts/s is heavy load? Its sub-1mb/s speeds, which was heavy load only when you was playing via dialup. depending on the cable lenght that you have, it can ajust the power going through it Complete bshit. Why internet gaming is dead

On my screenshot you can see latency (ping both ways) is almost stable, however upload speed is down (channel is symmetrical) and a lot of dropped packets.
However, dumb ISPs still thinking ping is reliable method to debug connectivity.

Nothing to do with MTU, because maxroutable in CS2 is 1200, so literally any internet channel with any auth (plain eth, PPPoE, various VPNs etc) is suitable.

Re: The Input Lag I've had for years just got worse...

This is not accurate information. Please read the linked post. Its absolutely accurate information. Get CCNA for start, then measure what you want. Now you are measuring nonsense digits with tests which you cannot understand. For bufferbloat test you can speedtest on any site. If your ping without ...

Re: The Input Lag I've had for years just got worse...

Nothing to test. Bufferbloat exists when you utilizing FULL channel bandwidth and packets stucking in queue. If you have at least 10mbit/s and no other consumers connected to router and no other software beside game client - you dont have any bufferbloat on your side.

Re: Dedicated Internet Access

"Everyone installs their own tweaks" is not the same as "no tweaks are used" Almost is. Because proplayers playing praccs 12 hours in a day so they dont have any possibility to have expertise in BIOS/OS/anything else tweaking. I am almost 100% sure that they even dont have access to BIOS or OS twea...
