Re: I'm desperate.Help me choose a monitor
I think I can help since I'm a former owner of an AOC G2590PX. At that time I switched between the G2590PX and a 24G2. After that I bought a Lenovo Legion Y25-25 a 240hz IPS Panel. Same as you, I experienced terrible eye strain afer playing on my G2590PX. There are a number of reasons; but I honestl...

Re: Gaming 1440p monitor recommendation
In the same boat buddy, I would start by asking yourself what are you priorities in a monitor? is back light strobing for blur reduction important? HDR? If your not concerned about strobing there are plenty of great monitors for 1440p 240hz or even 4K 144hz for that price range. Copy pasting from t...

Re: Best 240Hz 27" Monitor?
I'd recommend the HP Omen 27C kinda biased since it's the only 27" 240hz I own haha Pros: -1440p Resolution -240hz -Competitive Response Times -Has Freesync Premium Pro/ really nice motion clarity even with just freesync -Has nice MPRT/Motion Blur Reduction levels and pretty usable since they don't ...

Resolution Question
Hi so I have an HP Omen 27c right now and I tried downscaling my resolution from 2k to 1920x1080 240hz in the desktop and it worked but when I launched and changed the resolution of Valorant to 1920x1080 it's just stuck on 144hz, but the desktop's on 240hz. I tried changing to 1920x1200 240hz both t...

HP Omen 27c
Hi! I really wanted the XG2431 but there are no stocks available right now and our local retailers don't know when the restock will happen. I couldn't wait any longer so I looked at what's new at our local retailers and I saw the HP Omen 27c. It's a 2K resolution 240hz VA Panel. This is my first cur...

Re: Introduce yourself!
Hi! I'm Christian from Philippines. I was an AOC gaming monitor fanboy for years and tried the Lenovo Y25-25 around late 2019 when I wanted to go IPS 240hz on a budget. Now I'm excited to get my hands on my Viewsonic XG243!

Re: Games feel sluggish in fullscreen compared to windowed
Try change scaling options in nvidia cp with force override tick Hi there sir! Actually Mr. ReaINC answered this on a similar post I made. Btw I'm using an AMD GPU, RX 5700. So as explained by Mr. ReaINC, when using windowed mode it will automatically force the program to have vsync on. As advised ...

Re: Fullscreen vs Windowed Fullscreen in Valorant
How do you expect not to get tears in fullscreen if you don't use vsync or freesync and stay below 144FPS? Windowed mode forces vsync on output, so that's why there's no tearing there. Ohhh so that explains it thanks! I really didnt know that if I'm in windowed mode it forces vsync on. Thank you! I...

Re: Games feel sluggish in fullscreen compared to windowed
Hey there man, regarding this I actually experience this in Valorant when running it in fullscreen mode I notice some line tears and when I change it to windowed fullscreen mode it feels better, smoother and no more linear tears. I dont know also the reason why it happens. I'm using a 144hz TN Panel...

Fullscreen vs Windowed Fullscreen in Valorant
Hi so I noticed something weird ever since I started playing valorant. I notice some lines tearing up (not screen tears) or the motion is not quite as uniform when playing on fullscreen mode 1920x1080 or any fullscreen resolution in particular. But when I change it to fullscreen window mode the moti...
