Is ultra fast overdrive the better one to use over advanced? On youtube i think its recommended highest setting but i think i read somewhere use advanced. I wish rtings had a xg2431 review. Is general consensus that xl2546k is better for really fast paced games like warzone or apex legends? I just cant get myself to pay 500 for a 2 year old monitor, but then again its only 100 more than the acer -.-

Im guessing on Acer Nitro you can change max brightness while vbr on while the Acer Aopen you cant change max brightness with tvr on. Max brightness is forced on and gets greyed out not allowing you to turn it off on the Acer Aopen. Weird quirk. I ordered another dp cable hopefully kabeldirekt will ...

Can anyone let me know if theyre able to change their Max Brightness when TVR is on? Mine locks it to On regardless if i had it on/off before turning on the strobing. TVR normal is slightly brighter than when i use strobing Off with Max Brightness Off. Not sure if its a bug or not.

I think mine's defective. I tried 4 different dp cables and they all flicker the same at 390hz. 360hz works fine but i bought it for the 390hz. I guess ill return and get a xg2431 i hope its not as dim as every complains about it being. This acer aopen was nice and bright even with strobing

Are there any firmware updates for this monitor? I couldn't find any for the Aopen version (25xv2q). Also which displayport cable am I supposed to buy?
