[Client] Render. . . . . . . . . : 1.9ms
Can you give specs of your system?
Your rendertime is 4ms lower than mine, thats insane.
I am on AMD 5800x, 5700xt.

still crap
Yes, 64tick is unfixable no matter what settings you tweak. We had cl_updaterate 100 and sys_ticrate 10000 in 2004 in CS1.3 with intel Pentium Single cores, but are back to 64 ticks in 2024

Re: ENABLING SMT fixed ALL freezes and stuttering in CS2!

If there are games that you know and play and misbehave with SMT enabled, suggested to use Process Lasso to schedule / affinity them over the non-SMT cores and threads instead. CSGO was notoriously not optimized for multicore and heavily favoring high clockrates. You had always a better experience ...

Re: ENABLING SMT fixed ALL freezes and stuttering in CS2!

I did some quick testing and this trick helped me a lot. It dosent make sense but here is the proof. (AMD 5800x, Aorus Elite, 16GB ram, NVME SSD) With SMT OFF my CPU Usage would always rise very high within the first 10 min to the point it became unplayable because the frames and frametimes would co...

Re: I FIXED MY INPUT LAG (I didn't but I did)

Like this is how it should be but blissful mouse input only lasts for a few minutes. This, i tweaked my system to perfection, i join a Server in CS2 and the mouse is so crisp and fast, but after 10min it feels already slugisch again. Made me lean on to the theorie of EMI Electrical Problems again.

Re: my findings about "THE PROBLEM"

--> the less industry, the better? But why has the problem existed for me since around 2012 and not always? --> Photovoltaic systems cause the problem? (less sun in nordic states -> less photovoltaic systems) It is density of internetusage. I noticed it creeping in in 2012/2013 as well. Thats when ...

Re: Overclocking causing Desync

Absolutely any setting can give a fix. Come back tomorrow or in a few days, tell me that this no longer works. It is already 4 days and still stable. It also makes sense, because theoretically the currents are lower and the processor clock is less induced in parallel conductor tracks on the motherb...

Overclocking causing Desync

To make a long story short, i reset my BIOS settings to factory, disable smt/Hyperthreading, set XMP, win32priorityseparation to 2A and the game feels super smooth now. Mouse super responsive in CS2 Long story: I always overclocked my system, i browsed a lot in EMI forum and i had the idea that mayb...
