Resolution is too low and there's still the matter of the screen-door effect. I wouldn't say it's comparable at all to any conventional display. As an experience it's obviously one-of-a-kind (or two-of-a-kind, I've not yet tried the Vive).

ICC profiles work on the OS level, so only with your PC. If you want to do some calibration, just use the monitor settings.
