I have sadly encountered a serious bug well after the return period of the store I bought the XG2431 from. Whenever PureXP is on the audio mutes when the input changes or turns on/off. I have to mute and unmute from the OSD each time. This occurs over both HDMI and DisplayPort and on both my laptop ...

It occurs to me that the monitor is packed with the arm attached and rotated toward the right side of the monitor. Maybe the uneven distribution of weight is causing the issue to occur consistently on one side.

Thanks for the explanation, Chief. I saw you mention elsewhere that black breaks in a monitor quickest so I've been running a 24-hour black screen YouTube video on a Roku.

Actually on reconsideration what I'm seeing is probably IPS glow. I see that there have been multiple reports in this thread of IPS glow being much more prominent on the right side of the screen, which is what I'm experiencing.

I'm currently breaking in an XG2431 that is exhibiting what I believe is a fluid distribution issue. It presents as a smooth gradient starting from the lower right-hand corner of the screen. I'm wondering why I've never encountered something like this on a TN panel. Wouldn't uneven fluid ...
