The Sharp's "Made in Japan" ... Though perhaps it's not just the TN, but also the CCFL backlight (as opposed to WLED) that yields so much leeway. If it's both TN and CCFL, there's not much to choose ...

Can only check this with Refresh Rate Multitool , not because the browser tools fail, but because the Pentium M can't cope with the browser's resource demand (cpu à la 2004).
