Oh my why did I ever think this monitor had custom crosshairs Was about to grab one off Amazon now, double checked and found no custom crosshairs feature on this display which is a game changer. Sticking to my Asus VG248QG I guess

Re: Help me pick a new monitor under $600
The omen x25f is much faster than vg248qg with much less blur. I am able to get sub 140ms at human benchmark, could not do it with 248qg or 258qr. I am kinda satisfied, will do more testing. It is also super fast in VRR mode at 180FPS but not as fast at 120fps. Performance degrades fast under 160hz ...

Re: Apex Legends G-Sync setting and latency
Just FYI on APEX and any games using reflex that Nvidia has done something with the nvidia fps limiter and it's not working properly on any driver over 452.06 as in it cannot control the frametime which results in wierd non smooth camera movement and frequent minor frametime spikes.RTSS doesn't hav...

Re: Help me pick a new monitor under $600
If you don't use strobing than buying TN in 2021 is not a reasonable choice. I don't know about that one man, lots of people claiming the IPS panels are still behind in motion clarity with smudged ufos compared to the TNs. And it makes complete sense to me too that it could be the case. I saw a cre...

Re: Help me pick a new monitor under $600
BTW just found a result for mag251rx for 60hz the poster says
18 ms input lag at 60hz on my leo bodnar on msi mag251rx
39 on the asus vg279qm
And I want something closer to 10ms at 60hz.

Re: Help me pick a new monitor under $600
Don't worry about input lag too much, except if its extremely high like in VG's 60Hz situation. I saw Chief said multiple times here on forums that 240Hz monitors have higher input lag at 60Hz than native 60Hz monitors and it's true, you can see that from this bar chart. Upcoming XG2431 (23.8" 1080...

Re: Help me pick a new monitor under $600
VG25/279QM is bad at 120Hz only if u use ELMB, otherwise for classical vrr you have 6 levels of overdrive. These two also have input lag issue only at fixed 60Hz (actually fixed 60-100Hz). This means if u set it to 280Hz and adaptive-sync goes down to 60hz/fps it will not have input lag. But there ...
