Have you replaced the thermal paste on that 1080ti? The paste on my 1080 when I replaced it 2 years ago was dry and powder-like, causing it to thermal throttle and stutter in high FPS games. After replacing the thermal paste it returned to normal performance. I got a 3060ti now I'm the OP just on a...

Re: Useless tweaks.
Doing all those tweaks literally do nothing. Ask any pro in any game 70% of them just buy a pc download their game and play with zero issues. Doing tweaks is pointless doesn’t help at all. Just go try the game on your friend's house or an internet cafe, if it is the same as on your pc then you know...

Re: xv252qf - potentially faulty DisplayPort - please help
I ended up buying another XV252QF. Can confirm that the second monitor had zero issues. To summarize, both XV252QF had no issues reaching 360hz, however one of them had faulty DP port and I noticed latency when playing games and occasional artifacts that are very hard to spot. Somewhat of a scary p...

Re: Using NVIDIA's Control Panel + Profile Inspector to reduce input lag in games?
Regarding NCP tweaking, I've found that changing some 3D settings introuduces artifacts in some games like Doom Eternal, RDR2 and also games like Cult of the Lamb, they can miss with the whole game graphic too like making it too sharp and ugly, I thought these were glithces in the games but when I c...

Re: Is this input lag? (Video)
strafing is constant input, not 1 time the esc screen instantly jumps to 999 fps, which does not happen when strafing It's not constant input. When you press a key, that's a key down event. If you hold the key, nothing happens. No events. When you release the key, you get a key up event. Jumping to...

If your system isn't responsive already you can try yourself and see if there's a difference, it won't break anything.blackstorm82 wrote: ↑15 Mar 2023, 23:18windows10/11
Is it true that this option actually affects responsiveness?
I know a lot of people believe that it works and use it.
For me it doesn't do anything.

Re: Is this input lag? (Video)
Using the esc screen is a synthetic test. It's not so much synthetic, as it is a baseline to rule out other factors; if his keyboard has normal responsiveness to an instantaneous transition in a game, then whatever transition is slower in the same game is likely in-built delay. Different animations...

Re: Is this input lag? (Video)
What the slow movement has to do with input lag? isn't input lag the time it takes for the action to happen? The slow movement could just be perception based, like he pressed move so much earlier that the player acceleration should have kicked in by now. Or, the problem is affecting both the game's...
