Re: Fix for input lag
This might be a bit of a long post but i think its important writing out the process so people can experiment with the method. I got the "fix" working on every boot without requiring me to delete anything or refresh everything, basically set once and done. I initially tried changing permissions in t...

Re: Fix for input lag
I forgot about the refresh. I was rebooting the pc and on every reboot the EDID is back. I had a monitor driver installed, uninstalled it, but the EDID returned. . So, after every reboot I have to delete the profile & refresh? Yeah even with the driver disabled on every boot i need to delete the pr...

Re: Fix for input lag
This method has been working consistently for me for about 2 weeks now so i figure i'd share it to see if you guys find similar results. What if I have made custom resolution via gpu driver control panel? Tested this quickly by adding a random custom res of a unique dimensions (1750 x 950) to both ...

Re: Fix for input lag
Your monitor driver should still be disabled after the restart however windows re-initiates the driver's folder in the registry every boot. Even though the driver is disabled/unloaded windows re-initiates the monitor's EDID on boot which is what's causing the fix not remaining consistent for me. fo...

Re: Fix for input lag
Ok so disabling the monitor in device manager really does work for me but it does so very inconsistently however I messed around a lot and figured out a way to get it to consistently feel good (on my system at least ;) ). Step 1 - Disable monitor in device manager 11.PNG Step 2 - Restart PC FROM HER...

Re: 'Potentially' solved my issue with the mouse.
Ok great stuff in this thread. Take all of this with a grain of salt... I initially downloaded the dx control panel and disabled Direct3D and DirectDraw. This didnt show up on dxdiag as disabled however. Despite dxdiag saying its on, certain games that required direct3d wouldnt work (TF2 in my case...

Re: CS GO Input Lag
One thing that i've tried recently that helped csgo and tf2 in particular (and i assume other games on steam, idk about other clients) is going to nvidia 3D program settings and finding all the steam related stuff there and setting power management mode to maximum performance. They were all set to a...
