Re: Finding for heavy/floaty mouse movement [input lag]

What is "heavy mouse movement"? Heavy describes a degree of weight, not the way something moves. Unless the object/mouse cursor is somehow falling. I've tried to think through this for awhile and can't comprehend what it could mean. Heavy means that when you move your mouse and expect it to move to...

Re: TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot Increases Lag! (Tested)

Recently, a youtuber named 'Tech Yes City' did a comparison Video between Windows 10 vs Windows 11 and found out that W11 has more latency. It's pretty interesting to see what he tested. He specifically compared TPM, Secure Boot on vs off and saw a 3ms reduction in Lag (mouse movement to photon del...

Re: Do you get frametime spikes too?

I have read that frametime spikes when loading assets is indicative of storage problems. I have noticed that in Event Viewer I get a ton errors and warnings everyday related to StorPort, which is a system file related to Storage. I am curious if either of you get similar events. Personally I get th...

Re: Do you get frametime spikes too?

I do. Even in Chrome. Basically, I have stutters whenever textures/content is loading. Now, one could argue it's normal, but I've noticed it happens too much for me personally. It happens even on websites where my old 2014 laptop with Celeron doesn't stutter when content is loading. I found out that...

Re: 'Potentially' solved my issue with the mouse.

No problemo, how's this? EDIT: Included second photo of in-game. It plays smoothly, aside from the odd network stutter when in over-populated areas, e.g. legion event/ World boss. So does it make your gaming smoother? Also, you are one lucky dude. DPC Checker for me is always yellow, I don't ever s...
