Motion clarity is shit on any monitor without backlight strobing.
It only starts getting better if your monitor can do native 500 HZ and you can achieve 500 FPS at that, 1000 HZ at 1000 FPS is ideal.
Anything below 1000 HZ at 1000 FPS is easily beaten by a 20th century CRT TV running at 60 HZ and ...

Re: NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV
That's impressive, what model Acer monitor is this? how much does it cost and can it do 60 HZ Strobe?
Also how do you compare the colors to OLED and how bad is the matte coating?
I have a Glossy OLED so if I get this Acer I would be coming from the OLED.

Re: NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV
I think some reviewers have been told not to review the monitor until the firmware update is out for low frame rates, TFT Central confirmed this with Tim at hardware unboxed. So will have to wait and see.
Motion at 150+fps is great, better than my OLED.
Brightest my ACER Pulsar goes is 540 ...

Re: NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV
^ How is the matte coating on the Asus pulsar? how harsh is it?
Also can you do a motion test with full screen UFO so we can see the cross talk at around 80 FPS?
Also can you enable 60 HZ pulsar?
Also how is the flicker at 60hz how bad? or is it Rolling Scan making it easy on the eyes?
The fake ...

Re: NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV
So what is the verdict? are these Pulsar the holy grail to replacing CRT? or are we still better off waiting for SONY to somehow restart their old factories and start manufacturing CRT displays again?

Re: Viewsonic XG2431 Settings Help
are u saying that i should try 120hz strobbing on ultra instead of 240hz no strobbing for perfect inputlag & motion clarity?
^ 120HZ strobing on Ultra is equivalent to 1200 HZ at 1200 FPS with no strobing this is far far above 240 HZ, so yes if you can stomach the brightness penalty it's a no ...

Should I be worried about 10ms input delay caused by frame generation?
I cannot unsee how good Street Fighter 6 looks at 120 FPS with frame generation AMD's AFMF 2.1 which has the lowest input delay of any frame gen of just 10ms lag at 60 FPS Native and 5ms lag at 120 FPS native

Question for Chief should we still hold out on the Successor to the Blur Buster 2.0 XG2431?
For those of us hoping for 1440P blur buster monitor I remember you said you had this setup to go but Covid screwed you over and it had a major setback but you were still hopeful for another blur buster monitor
