Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)

I think G-Sync isn't working right on my ROG. Games are stuttering. I tested it with Settlers 2 - 10th Anniversary and there are minor but noticeable stutters. In Divinity: Original Sin it's really noticeable. It stutters so much, it's pretty much unplayable. Games run the same without G-Sync ...

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)

Unfortunately, flickering appears to be a not uncommon problem with G-Sync based on what I have read on other forums like ASUS ROG and the GeForce boards. Not sure what the solution could be other than complaining to NV.

I've only heard of it happening during loading screens and when people aren ...

Re: Where's the stock of Asus ROG Swift's?

It seems all G-Sync monitors have this issue.

Sorry, what was the issue the monitor was having? I have recently starting following the ROG Swift but have not read many reviews.
Uh, low availability? This isn't such a long thread, you know :P

No it's not, so I'm surprised you missed this line ...

Are there receivers known to passthrough 120hz?

Or is a splitter required?

I would like to overclock a TV but am worried about getting my audio to my receiver. The only other thought I had would be to split the HDMI and send one to the receiver and one to the TV(on a different input). This way I would have to mute the TV audio but use the input ...

Is ULMB the Lightboost tech? I toyed around with that on my ASUS 144hz about 6 months ago and recall a similar limitation.

Thanks for the info!

Re: News on the ROG Swift (PG278Q)

Nvidia 3D Vision support has also been confirmed for this monitor, at the full native 2560 x 1440 resolution, but this will be a separate mode which can not be activated at the same time as G-SYNC (much like on the BenQ ‘G’ series).

Just to confirm, G-Sync, 144hz, and 1440p is achievable ...

Are there any NATIVE 120hz TVs without having to overclock?

Hello,

I am looking to get a 120hz "TV" that can accept a 120hz signal natively. The only monitors I know that support this are through DVI-D and displayport, which both I do not believe to be on most TVs.

Are there any TVs on the market that accept a 120hz signal natively through HDMI, or either ...
