Re: monitor recommendation (Asus VG258QM TUF vs Acer Predator XB253Q GW)
oh actually V range 48hz-285hz made the thing also. No flickering? could it make some harm if I go over the advertised v range. Im going to do frog later since it needs some focusing from me, Im new to hobby and the terms in english are not so well known for me while english isnt my main language. I...

Re: monitor recommendation (Asus VG258QM TUF vs Acer Predator XB253Q GW)
Ok thanks, rising lower 48hz to 50, 60, 80, 100 didnt solve the problem. I added v range 48-270hz and no flickering anymore. Now I can keep 280hz OC on and cap FPS 265fps for the games.

Re: monitor recommendation (Asus VG258QM TUF vs Acer Predator XB253Q GW)
after game tests I have to say this monitor feels best when I turn freesync on and cap fps 275. Its very clear and smooth, according to Rtings inputlag difference is only 2.6ms vs 2.4ms. Can it be real or is it some sort of placebo? After I set VRR on/280hz I get some screen blinking every ~15s when...

D9266046-F763-444E-B07C-A5AD646B8FBA.jpeg I fell in love with this VG258QM. Comparing to x25 f it looks mostly the same but Asus feels somehow even more responsive when playing Valorant and CSGO. Picture taken 280fps, Variable OD level 3, 960pps, brightness 20, contrast 80, VRR off, ELMB off Much b...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)
I did buy VG259QM yesterday and it was amazingly crap. I did compare it to X25 f - severe ghosting, washed out colors, 2 dead picels, bad ips glow, loose panel frame... As someone said earlier: DO NOT BUY ANYMORE! If you find new or used one with Qisda then maybe buy. Panel type AUO M250HAN01 1A3BB4...
