Fwiw... Mine flickered like crazy when I first got it, and the hard reset and what I just explained completely resolved the issues. It has not flickered one time since and runs flawlessly

Sucks that you are still having issues... Mine flickered when I first got it... You do have to make sure that when you overclock it through the panel... It should automatically switch windows to 390hz... I found that when I first tried it, it did not I had to manually change it in Nvidia control pan...

I saw the review on the 500hz dell, they said the pixel response time is 1.8ms vs other benq and Asus 1.4ms.. does anyone know the pixel response time on the Acer 390hz?? I didn't notice it in any reviews, or maybe I just don't know what I'm looking at lol.

I'm guessing faulty panel... I have zero issues and know many others who don't have any issues you do... Not sure heat is the issue. You can definitely try anything though! Gl
