just wanted to add my 2 cents: i'm using an xl2731k, the instructions did not yield me any results. i am able to create a custom resolution up to 174hz in Nvidia Control Panel without mcss or any other programs, but using it for 175hz and up, i am unable to do any more than dismiss the Out Of Range ...
