Usually a sleep-mode reset from monitor or OS.

Could be a sleep-mode profile reset bug, when the monitor wakes up.
hmm that sounds probably unfixeable, unless Zowie releases firmware for these monitors

Re: BenQ Zowie XL2546K 240hz TN

The review has been released: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/benq/zowie-xl2546k This review says it has G Sync Compatible but for my unit it doesn't work well, you'll get artifacts on the monitor during menus if you enable it. The support rep on reddit said it was because it's not certified...

Re: BenQ Zowie XL2546K 240hz TN

I'd love to hear from XL2546K users. If you try Blur Busters Strobe utility on the XL2546K, hit "F" key to force reconfiguration, and test both the "A" and "B" set of DDC/CI commands. I'll use the information in the next released version of Strobe Utility. I have the monitor it just came a few days...

Re: Is there strobing that doesn't hurt your eyes?

That looks like a good model. I can't find any release info online, when does it release? It's already released, but availability varies depending on region apparently. I contacted BenQ directly some time ago, they said XL2546K should be available in my country mid October, or at least that's what ...

Re: Is there strobing that doesn't hurt your eyes?

Out of all monitors I tested, the only strobing technology I found usable was the one from Zowie, it's called Dynamic Accuracy (DyAc) and it does not impact brightness whatsoever. All other strobing techs were just too dim for me, brightness impact was significant, and I really need my display pret...

Is there strobing that doesn't hurt your eyes?

Last time I tried strobing it was on the 2014 ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q and it felt unusable because of how low you had to lower the brightness. I'm now seeing 240Hz monitors with strobing and wondering if the time is right for this sort of thing. How are things now?

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

How is the strobing like in this monitor? I remember when I had the RoG Swift PG278Q years ago the strobing only looked "good" at really low brightness and it hurt my eyes like hell. I've written off strobing since then and never tried another monitor so I'm just wondering if there is a difference h...
