Re: Input lag issues on new setup with MPG 271QRX
You have the same issue I do. Don't listen to most people here telling you to change all kinds of irrelevant things. The problem is windows color calibration conflicting with your graphics drivers.
Try this, go into device manager, disable your monitor driver and restart. If this makes a very ...

Re: Input lag issues on new setup with MPG 271QRX
Might be the DSC Input Lag feeling most of here talk about.
DSC needs to be active in order to achieve 360hz WQHD via DP 1.4.
You might try HDMI 2.1, if you monitor has it. There i believe you can achieve 360hz WQHD in 8Bit Color Space without DSC.

Re: 50 series can't perform scaling on GPU, should I worry about it?
The worst is the crosshair and characters being inacurrate on top of the input lag.
I'll just keep playing Nightreign or other games until it comes out, or skipping CS and other competitive games altogether until summer is over not ruin my faceit 10.
Does this happen when displaying native res ...

Re: 50 series can't perform scaling on GPU, should I worry about it?
This is a known issue by Nvidia since 2 months if I'm not mistaken, but they surely don't give a F.
To my understanding - this happens with DSC Monitors only. Thats why GPU Scaling is available with 5000 Series Cards on none DSC Monitors.
This is unacceptable, since not everyone has an old TN ...

Re: Longstanding Floaty Aim Feel Issue Fixed with a Fiber Optic DisplayPort Cable...
All of yours reports made me want to try this. I ordered the exact one from Amazon OP linked. I'm not having much hope as I believe the problem lies more in the game itself (CS2), but worst case scenario I'll just return it I guess, so why not give it a shot.
I will report when I get it, but it ...

Re: S/FTP ethernet cable and interference
Where did you get this information from?
I also have a Cat 8.1 S/FTP Ethernet Cable, so you might consider me to switch it up. Why would they sell those as indoors ethernet cables, if they are do more harm than good?
That I do not exactly know, I spoke with a cable installation professional ...

300hz + 120Fps OR Gsync Compatible + 120Fps
I'm playing a game which is hardcapped at 120Fps.
I wonder which of these Settings should give lower input lag, or better Gameplay Experience per se?
Fixed Refresh Rate at 300hz and 120Fps
or
Gsync compatible, which maintains the 120hz and adds the smoothness to the Image with 120Fps.
Why ...

Re: Polling behavior of Gsync and input lag
Do you mean vsync off via Nvida or the Game?
Normally Nvidia's standard settings is to let the game decide and when its turned off there, there shouldnt be problems, right?
Or should we make sure to turn vsync off in nvidia also?
It didn't matter. Vsync was always enabled when g-sync first ...
