Re: S/FTP ethernet cable and interference
Where did you get this information from? I also have a Cat 8.1 S/FTP Ethernet Cable, so you might consider me to switch it up. Why would they sell those as indoors ethernet cables, if they are do more harm than good? That I do not exactly know, I spoke with a cable installation professional and he ...

300hz + 120Fps OR Gsync Compatible + 120Fps
I'm playing a game which is hardcapped at 120Fps. I wonder which of these Settings should give lower input lag, or better Gameplay Experience per se? Fixed Refresh Rate at 300hz and 120Fps or Gsync compatible, which maintains the 120hz and adds the smoothness to the Image with 120Fps. Why do I not p...

Re: Polling behavior of Gsync and input lag
Do you mean vsync off via Nvida or the Game? Normally Nvidia's standard settings is to let the game decide and when its turned off there, there shouldnt be problems, right? Or should we make sure to turn vsync off in nvidia also? It didn't matter. Vsync was always enabled when g-sync first released...

Re: Polling behavior of Gsync and input lag
When this article was written, Nvidia had not introduced the option yet to set vsync to OFF. So all the measurements were with vsync ON, which of course will increase latency if you don't cap FPS well below Hz. Do you mean vsync off via Nvida or the Game? Normally Nvidia's standard settings is to l...

Re: [HOWTO!] 360hz in a 250FPS locked game
Guys, I have a similar question. I have the Acer 390hz, but I have been playing more EA FC 24 (Fifa 2024) and I limit the fps in the game to 120, as the game is poorly optimized at high fps rates, so I stay at 390hz / 120fps. I don't experience any screen tearing or stuttering this way. Would there...

Re: Timer Resolution - 0.497 ms
I would also like to know, if anything under the max. supported timer resolution of 0.5ms causes any problems.
In Win11 for example, there seems to be fixed & I constantly get 0.5ms. Why is it messed up in Win10 then?
