Re: Panasonic Plasma VT60

I still use my 50" ST30, I'm always annoyed by the double-image blur, BUT it's actualler better than my OLED C7 which has even worse blur. Only C8/C9 or the incoming CX has finally good blur thanks to the optional BFI mode I use Rayman Legends music levels to test the motion blur of a TV (there's a ...

Re: Wooting One keyboard tested against Logitech G Pro Keybo

The SteelSeries Apex Pro is interesting with it's customizable switch going as low as 0.4 mm actuation point, there's also the razer huntsman with a laser system which "seems" better than older keyboard with similar tech like Bloody keyboards

Re: How do OLEDs with/without BFI compare to gaming monitors

T Typically, most OLED BFI is only in 50% granularity (8ms persistence steps), though the new 2019 LG OLEDs can do BFI in 25% granularity at 60Hz and 50% granularity at 120Hz (4ms persistence steps) Unfortunately, it seems the 2019 models does not have the new BFI as seen in CES. Due to last minute...

Re: Asus PG258Q - Can it do 180Hz ULMB

yes sorry by that what i meant was for example on the benq 2540 xl acceptable crosstalk level from a bad case 240 BBR default to really good case and tested "calibrated" VT 1570 180hz, even if there's no magic number for everyone, it's interesting to check blur difference and input lag in each case,...

Re: Nvidia Introduces 65-inch "Big Format Gaming Displays"

they need some antiblur tech, that works even on console, with low input lag, to be of interest

Re: Why do 240HZ monitors have more lag than 144HZ AHVA

that's a good question, according to tftcentral, acer xb270HU would be better for a purely competitive gamer (so not taking account anti blur stuff) at 144 than even 240hz monitors ? Well the blur reduction with 240hz even without blur reduction mode is a bonus that probably gains edge over 1,5ms di...

Re: Asus PG258Q - Can it do 180Hz ULMB

155Hz ULMB should be the lowest-lag, most competitive-ready strobed mode for competitive gaming if that's your purpose. benq 240hz with anti blur would beat it, no? or 180hz antiblur tweaked I know you want to perfect all the reviews, and have the proofs, but until then, and since and it take a lot...

Re: Looking for: 27" IPS, 1440p, G-Sync

is IPS that important for you? it has better color and better viewing angle, but it's "usually" not the best option for fast fps and pixel responsiveness and input lag, even if some of them are amazingly close (acer and asus)

Re: Pubg / fifa 18 on a Benq xl2411Z

oh yes sorry, too much drink on new year eve i guess made me read incorrectly ;p there's not much you can do to make it better, it's already a great monitor for these games :) you can check your AMA setting, if you are not already on "high", which i believe is most praised, and unless you can do 144...

Re: Pubg / fifa 18 on a Benq xl2411Z

For pubg, a somewhat "competitive monitor" would be a 24 or 27 with 1440P 144hz gsync monitor (or more, it could be uncapped before release but now it's capped to 144) 1440P makes it better to spot enemies (and see their stuff) Higher than 1440P would be too a bit too hard to get 100fps + you need a...
